About us

Oxfordshire Lions is the Official Aston Villa supporters club based in Oxfordshire. Formed by a group of dedicated fans, for the fans. The club provides a way for Villa fans to connect, travel to games together, and enjoy the matchday experience as a community.

We organise regular meet-ups, arrange travel to Villa Park for all fixtures and keep members informed with the latest news from the club. Whether you’re in Oxford, Banbury, Abingdon, Witney or beyond, the Oxfordshire Lions is your home for all things Villa in our local area.

It’s not just about football – it’s about being part of a loyal, all inclusive welcoming group who share a passion for Aston Villa.

We have had people meet for the first time, be it on transport, social meet ups or an event, that have then become friends outside of the Oxfordshire Lions.

As we move into our 3rd year, we are privileged to also be going into our 2nd year as an official Aston Villa Official Lions club.

Our supporters’ club has grown thanks to you – both members and non-members alike. Whether you’ve travelled to games, joined a social meet-up or event, spread the word in your local supermarket or workplace, or simply stopped to chat when spotting a fellow fan in a Villa shirt, your efforts have made a real impact. You’ve played a huge part in helping our club grow and thrive for future generations

Join the Official Oxfordshire Lions – a dedicated supporters’ club for Villa fans across the county. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the claret and blue, our group brings together passionate supporters to follow the team home and away.

I came across the wonderful Oxfordshire Lions when I moved up to Bicester a couple of years ago now.

What a find!! Without them I would not of been able to go to the European nights as the trains back to Bicester from Moor Street finish to early. They have great pick up locations and always on time, if not a little ahead of schedule, but keep you updated along all the pick up points.

Every time my son and I have travelled with them, it’s always a good atmosphere on board and Andy and Chris always take time out to speak to everyone on board.

Meet ups are also good. Only been to one but always good to watch a Villa game that you are not going too with other Villans. One event that they held was an evening with Tony Daley, and what a great night that was, and again, everyone there was a good bunch and we all had a great evening.

So happy I found the Oxfordshire Lions, and if anyone is looking to join up, travel up and meet up, do so. They are all a great bunch.

Keep up the amazing work you are doing, and to get as far as they have in less than 2 full seasons is a credit to all involved.

I have used Oxfordshire lions transport to villa park many times now and everybody on the bus is friendly we have a laugh and talk about the villa. I have gone to villa park on the train before I used Oxfordshire lion’s transport and I must say I’m not going by train again , I have even taken my 10-year-old daughter with me sometimes and she loves it to. It’s so much easier you park just around the corner from villa park and you get there in plenty of time to have a few drinks or look around the store before kick-off. If you use this transport once I guarantee you will never use any other way of getting to villa park. UTV.
